 Jesus Christ had many teachings on charity, which is also commonly known as love, compassion, or kindness towards others. In fact, charity was one of the central themes of his teachings. Here are some of the most famous quotes from Jesus about charity:

Another important teaching of Jesus regarding charity was the idea of giving without expecting anything in return. In Luke 6:34-35, he said, "And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked."

In addition to these teachings, Jesus emphasized the importance of charity in fulfilling God's commandments. In Matthew 22:36-40, he was asked which commandment was the greatest, and he replied, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Overall, Jesus' teachings on charity emphasized the importance of selflessness, generosity, and love towards others as essential aspects of living a fulfilling and meaningful life.
